In 1999 Michael Monk left the hustle and bustle of the city and took his thirty years of wine making experience with him to beautiful Vancouver Island.

Grapefully Yours opened in Chemainus in June of that year and quickly became a Mecca. Michael's dream came true in rapid fashion. His business attracts locals as well as tourists from all over the world. Here they can make use of Michael's talents as a winemaker and enjoy the unique gift shop where they can purchase items from the most delicate hand-painted stemware to the hottest of hot sauces.

Michael's Italian roots gave him a jumpstart in wine making. His interest in creating the best possible wines for his customers became a passion. Along with his expertise, and using only the best products, his clients get to savor delicious wines, ports and beers developed on the premises of Grapefully Yours.
